Started in January 2000 in the DMBR at the VIB/UGent in the group of Prof. Dr. Claude Libert. Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Claude Libert and Dr. Tino Hochepied this small group started with the implementation of transgenic techniques (mice models) at the DMBR. In June 2003 the DMBR moved out to a new state of the art building in Zwijnaarde (Gent) where TCF started up oficially as a service core facility to the whole department. In September 2006 Ahmed left the department to discover new horizons.
Begin october 2006 Ahmed started in the UZ Brussel at the Centre for Reproductive Medicine (CRG: FR/EN) as lab technician in fertility.Techniques acquired :
